A Fast and Discreet Way to Call for Help
e-Call by AVERio is a fast and discreet way to call for help to multiple people at once with a single tap of the e-Call icon on your smart phone. When pressed, this sends a message to the AVERio e-Call cloud service which triggers an instant automation which then sends an SMS and voice message to your chosen contacts.
Since neither the emergency message or outbound call is made from the device itself, this offers a secure way to easily contact multiple people in a distress situation, without the details being visible on the device itself.
The contents of both the SMS message and voice message are fully customisable, and can be delivered to up to 5 contacts of your choice.
The e-Call icon can be named anything and can be loaded onto your device with a choice of different icons, making it easy to disguise on your home screen (i.e with a headphone icon and call it “playlist”).
e-Call vs a Manual Text/Call
e-Call is faster than making a manual voice call or sending a text. Simply tap the e-Call icon and your contacts will receive an SMS/call automatically. Optionally, we can send you an instant reply to confirm that your e-Call request has been successfully received
e-Call allows you to contact up to 5 people at once. If you’re in a distress situation, you want to be able to contact someone as quickly as possible. When calling 1 person there is no guarantee that they’ll answer first time. Contacting multiple people at once provides a much higher chance that your distress call will be noticed and actioned faster.
When the e-Call button is pressed your phone sends a short text to the AVERio cloud inbox. This then triggers the automated texts and calls from the AVERio service (not your phone) so there is no trace on your device of who you’ve called or text for help.
